The Free Wedding Reception
Here is the idea behind the FREE reception.
Many couples just don't want to pay for the
big wedding thing, so they go to the courthouse and get married,
then tell their family and friends that they are going to save
up some money then have the "real" wedding next
month, or next year, whatever.
Of course, most of the time that never
happens.
What if that couple married at our club, with
Elvis singing through the Happy Hour and quite a bit of their
champagne was "on us", and all of their family and friends
who wanted to be there, were there?
We set the club up as a wedding reception and do all of the wedding
reception traditions.
And we charge the wedding couple absolutely
NOTHING.
The catch?
Although we pay for the wedding couple, the family and friends who are
there to help celebrate, pay for their own drinks, cover, ect. just like they were at
any other nightclub on the Riverwalk. The good news is that the
wedding couple get to have their real wedding, their friends and
family get to be there, everyone has a blast, and it doesn't cost
the couple anything.
Isn't this better than never having the big
wedding because you don't want to spend the money?

Package #2:
The Free Reception with a Riverwalk Marriage Ceremony:
Everything listed above, but add in a
Riverwalk Wedding
Service that could cost from $50 to $350+ depending on what you

(This really is a GREAT
deal- a wedding right on the Riverwalk for a fraction of the cost
that it
would be with someone else, and about what a Courthouse
wedding costs? The cheapest Riverwalk Wedding I've ever seen was
$500, we'll can do it for $100 or less! What a GREAT deal!)
Package #3: The Riverwalk Reception on a Budget:
Everything listed above, but if the couple
have a little money budgeted to entertain their guests, but don't want
to rent the VFW Hall for their reception, (doesn't a Riverwalk
party beat a boring banquet-hall party, every time?) they
can have it at our place and pay for the first $500 or $1500 or
$3,000 (whatever amount is fine) of the drinks for their guests to
get the party started. We will set up a separate bar for the wedding
party to drink until their budget is met, and then
afterwards we'll go to a cash bar after that for those who want
to celebrate the rest of the night!

Don't people HATE IT when there is no open
bar?
The truth is: NO, not always,
people understand how expensive weddings are, but they do like it when
there is at least a partially open bar for a few
"freebies", that's why Package #3 is the most

Can we serve dinner to our guests?
Yes. We can provide catering
or work with your caterer.
What is the cover charge for our guests?
It depends. If you are not
going to pre-pay a bar tab, the cover will vary from $10 to $5. If
you are pre-paying a bar tab, the cover MAY BE as low as ZERO. We'll
work with you on this.
Who do I work with to coordinate our plans?
It depends. We can work
things out between us for nothing OR if you want a professional
wedding coordinator to assist us, to ensure all of your special details are perfect, we have an exclusive and VERY affordable
option of an on-site wedding coordinator, with services as low as
$50. Contact us about cost and services.
What's the deal with Elvis?
We love him during the early
wedding hours to get people in a good mood. His songs are familiar
to everyone, his personality is "let's have fun", everyone
recognizes his music (young and old), he has great hair and great
outfits!
And some people want him to be part of their ceremony!
